In February 2006, I was able to make a brief trip to Bavaria, Germany, visiting the villages of Plattling, Wallersdorf, and Moos. These are the villages of origin for my Forster family. This trip took me back in time to the furthest reaches of my genealogy research; back to the 1600's. It was a very cold, snowy February afternoon, but nevertheless, it was a lot of fun to walk in the footsteps of my ancestors.
